Policies and Procedures

All prices on Adult Costume Shop are in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST.

You can make paymenton our website by MasterCard, Visa or PayPal. On occasion we allow bank transfer if you do not have a credit card or Paypal. Please contact us if you require this payment option.

Your credit card is charged immediately upon purchase. Charges will appear on your credit card statement as 'Costume Shop' or 'Jola Pty Ltd'.

Shipping and Postage
We ship all orders by Express Delivery.  Your order will either be shipped by Toll Priority or Australia Post Express Post.  We will determine what is the quickest method to your delivery address.  Toll Priority cannot deliver to PO Boxes, if your order has a PO Box as the delivery address then we will send it by Australia Post Express Post.  Both delivery methods have tracking that will be provided to you by email once the order has shipped.

Adult Costume Shop will not accept responsibility for losses within the Australian Postal System. If your shipment is not received within 2 business days of our shipment delivery email, please contact us immediately and we will attempt to assist you in locating the shipment. Shipments are not insured unless you specifically request insurance, which is then to be charged to you as an extra cost. Should Australia Post deem an item to be delivered and you disagree, it is your responsibility to prove that you did not receive the parcel.  Adult Costume Shop accepts the item as being delivered.

It is the customers responsibility to supply the correct delivery address. Should the parcel be rejected and returned to us, it is the customers responsibility to pay further postage costs to have the parcel shipped again.

Parcels not accepted by the customer and returned unopened will be deemed a credit voucher for the amount of the costume(s) within and will expire after 14 days.

Delivery Timeframe
Orders received by 3pm AEST on a business day will be sent on the same day. Orders after this time will be sent on the next business day. Delivery is approximately 1-3 business days depending on your location and is reliant on timeframes set by Toll Priority or Australia Post.

Due to the volume of orders we receive, an item may go out of stock before we are able to make updates to our website. You will be notified immediately if this happens so you can make changes to your order before it is processed.

We want our customers to have an easy and trouble free experience ordering costumes online with us.  Therefore, if for any reason your costume is not the correct fit, you are able to return it to us for an exchange or a full refund if you notify us within 7 days.  Refunds are only issued for the cost of the costume and not the original delivery charges.  It is also your resposibility to pay for delivery charges to return the costume to us.  

If you are exchanging an item for a different size, we cannot send the exchange costume to you until we receive the original one back.  If your party or ocassion is coming up, we recommend you make a new purchase for the correct size, so that we can ship it to you immediately and then you can return the other one to us and be refunded for it once we receive it back. 

Returns must not be worn (except for trying it on), damaged, soiled or altered in any way and must be packed neatly and with care into the original undamaged packaging. 

If you return something that has been used, worn, altered, is missing items, or is without the original packaging or garment tag, you cannot get a refund for that item. The garment will be returned to you at your expense. So please double-check to make sure you've included all of the pieces and packaging before returning anything.  

We stock quality brands at Adult Costume Shop.  Should on rare occasions your costume be faulty or missing items, please notify us immediately so that we can rectify the problem. We reserve the right to replace the faulty item or repair it if we deem it applicable.  We reserve the right to inspect the costume before any decision is made about it's exchange or refund.

Stockings may only be returned if they are still in the original, unopened factory-sealed packaging. There are no returns accepted due to sizing on our Lingerie Bedroom Costumes (Baci, Dreamgirl, Hustler, Leg Avenue) which include panties,g-strings,thongs,bras or other intimate apparel due to health regulations. So please check the sizing charts carefully.

Important: We recommend costumes be returned to us using a traceable shipping method to the correct address. If you return the item without the ability to track it's delivery and we don't receive the item, we will not be responsible for refunding or exchanging the order.
