Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter

Once upon a time there was a story about a girl who went to a very magical land and met some very interesting people along the way. She met the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat and the Mad Hatter. In the animated version, Miss Alice is a beautiful blonde child with innocent blue eyes and a blue dress. The Mad Hatter is an addled, bucktoothed and silly fellow with a top hat and a very screwy view of the world. Tim Burton, the magical visionary took the story and gave it a little twist and went on with it from where the original stopped. Alice is older and stronger and the Mad Hatter is just a little more than addled, in fact he has gone completely bonkers. Kudos to Johnny Depp for yet another over the top performance.
