Already feeling defeated and self conscious, the woman made her way into the costume shop, trying to avoid the stares and the giggles that followed her wherever she went. It was the same at the grocery store, the doctor’s office, the library. People would openly gawk at her, pointing and making running commentaries on her body, her face, her clothing, her shopping choices. I am standing in the costume shop and I am wishing that I either had unlimited money or the ability to make a snap decision and get the heck out of here. But I am a Libra and not only are we impulsive, but we can also see the good and bad in everything in an instant. Simply put, decisions are not our strong point. Ginny is a bashful gal, a really, painfully shy, shy girl. Even the wallflowers at any given party have a far better time than she does. She cried the last time she had to speak to someone in person. She took a job as a telemarketer so that she did not have to talk to people face to face at all. Even when she dialed the phone to talk to complete strangers, she felt a little woozy. Osama Bin Laden’s Likeness on Display in Costume Shop Window

The window display of the Sheffield City Centre fancy dress shop is causing a slight stir but no real controversy as of yet. That window display features a costume meant to depict Osama Bin Laden that was designed by Eve Kann. The costume, worn by a bearded mannequin, features combat clothing, a turban and glasses with springy, crazy eyes. Standing in front of the figure is a female mannequin dressed as an American soldier, holding a toy gun. Read more

If you are looking for a costume whether it is for Halloween or just for a fancy dress party, there are a number of places that you can buy them. You can go to costume specialty shops, but those typically only open for the US Halloween season, so what are you to do if you need a costume in April? You can go to a year ‘round costume shop but those are typically very expensive. You would end up paying three or four times what the costume is worth in those stores.
