Every year, there are some costume trends that show up, stay for the season and then disappear, unlikely to be seen again. For this past year, there were some amusing Halloween costumes that made quite an impression on children and adults alike. Some of these choices included: Angry Birds Oh, admit it! You know your fancy-schmancy smart phone that cost more than your first car has this game on it and you also know that you nearly wept one night because you could not advance past that one level. Kiss of the Spiderman

Ever since that upside down kiss in Spiderman, it has been the secret fantasy of Victoria, to have a mystery superhero to come along and save her, stopping only long enough to kiss her long and hard, then wordlessly disappear again. No one knew of her secret fantasy, although she was starting to wear out the rewind button on her DVD player, watching that scene over and over and over. One day a little bit of a surprise came in the mail, in the form of an invitation to a dress up party. She shyly asked hubby to go dressed in a Spiderman costume, but he refused, absolutely fed up with her weird obsession with anonymous kisses and heroes that save you, then kiss and run.
